Idiopathic eosinophilic pneumonitis
Definition This is an idiopathic disease in which a certain type of white blood cell called an eosinophil accumulates in the lung. These cells cause disruption of the normal air spaces (alveoli) where oxygen is extracted from the atmosphere.
