Hydranencephaly
Definition A condition caused by failure of the cerebral hemispheres to develop during the antenatal period. This condition is characterised by a lack of a forebrain upon imaging. This condition may present with visual impairment, lack of growth, deafness, blindness, spastic quadriparesis, or intellectual deficits.
