Acquired haemophilia
Definition Acquired hemophilia is a rare hemorrhagic disease. The prevalence is estimated at 1 per million. The disease is caused by production of anti-factor VIII antibodies and is sometimes associated with other autoimmune disorders, cancers lymphoproliferative syndromes and multiple transfusions during the postpartum period.
