Protein deficiency anaemia
Definition A disease caused by low levels of protein within the body. This disease is characterised by a low red blood cell count in the blood. This disease may present with pallor, fatigue, or shortness of breath. Confirmation is by identification of a low red blood cell count in a blood sample.
