Definition A condition of the Fallopian tube, caused by tubal pregnancy, endometriosis, tubal carcinoma, or cryptomenorrhoea. This condition is characterised by bleeding and the presence of blood clots inside the Fallopian tubes, and pelvic pain or uterine bleeding. Confirmation is by imaging.
