Eruptive xanthoma
Definition Eruptive xanthomata manifest as crops of small yellow papules which erupt in large numbers over extensor surfaces, particularly the buttocks, back, legs and arms. They are associated with severe hypertriglyceridaemia and may be associated with uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.
