Granulomatous gastritis of unknown aetiology
Definition
A rare disease characterised by the presence of granulomas within the gastric mucosa or submucosa. Common causes of GG are Crohn’s disease (CD), disseminated sarcoidosis and infections (tuberculosis [TB], syphilis, fungal).
