Benign lymphoepithelial lesion of lacrimal gland
Definition This is a type of benign enlargement of the parotid and/or lacrimal glands. This pathologic state is sometimes, but not always, associated with Sjögren's syndrome. This diagnosis is of paired almond-shaped glands, one for each eye, that secrete the aqueous layer of the tear film.
